About Amy

I began my love affair with making photographs as a wee tyke, snapping pictures of my family with my little black 110mm Kodak camera (circa 1980). I graduated to my my dad’s old Canon AE-1 during college and I’ve never looked back.

Since graduating from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a degree in Design Communications in 1999, I’ve spent the last 10 years as a freelance photographer – specializing in dynamic portraiture for advertising, corporate, and editorial clients. I’m also a highly qualified graphic design professional with over 13 years industry experience. From concept through completion; websites, ad campaigns and collateral; I’ve done it all.

I like to think that my background in graphic design is a huge asset for me photographically.
